DMCA Policy
Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice and Takedown Procedure.

Greek Squad LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others. This DMCA Policy outlines our response to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
1. Copyright Infringement Notification
If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content hosted on or by Greek Squad LLC infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a written notification pursuant to the DMCA by providing our Copyright Agent with the following information (see 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) for details):
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which the complaining party may be contacted.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2. Designation of Copyright Agent

3. Takedown and Counter-Notice
Upon receipt of a valid and complete DMCA notice, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notify the user who posted the material that we have removed or disabled access to the material.
- Inform the user of the counter-notification procedure described in Section 512(g)(3) of the DMCA.
Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.
4. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our Copyright Agent. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In appropriate circumstances, Greek Squad LLC may terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to our services and/or terminate accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
6. Safe Harbor
Greek Squad LLC complies with the safe harbor provisions of 17 U.S.C. § 512. We respond expeditiously to remove or disable access to material claimed to be infringing and take reasonable steps to notify the user who posted the material.
7. Response Timeline
- Acknowledgment: We typically acknowledge receipt of valid notices within 1 business day.
- Investigation: Valid notices are reviewed within 3–5 business days.
- Removal: Infringing content is removed/disabled promptly upon verification.
- Counter-Notice: Counter-notifications are processed pursuant to § 512(g), which may include restoration of material after 10–14 business days unless the complainant seeks a court order.
8. Misrepresentation Warning
Submitting false or bad-faith notices or counter-notices may result in legal consequences under § 512(f). Please ensure your claims are accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.
